At Rooted by Rain, we provide more than just housing, we offer sanctuary, support, and connection for birthmothers navigating emotional loss, crisis, or life transitions. Our program is grounded in trauma-informed and healing-centered values and shaped by the belief that every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in her wholeness.

Who we serve
Rooted by Rain serves birthmothers navigating grief, emotional loss, or life transitions, especially those related to adoption, motherhood, recovery, or housing instability. We welcome women from all walks of life, including:
Expectant mothers considering adoption
Individuals in recovery or reentry needing nurturing housing
Birthmothers post-placement seeking support
Mothers in transition due to crisis, trauma, or disconnection
Women experiencing complex grief or ambiguous loss
Many of the women we serve have faced isolation, judgment, or lack of supportive care. At Rooted by Rain, we offer a soft place to land; a safe space where healing is honored, stories are heard, and new roots can take hold.
We believe every woman holds intrinsic value, and we meet her with compassion, dignity, and choice…wherever she is in her journey..
